Dr Tam is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) which is internationally recognised as the only board certification focusing on hair restoration surgery for physicians anywhere in the world. Being recognised as a Diplomate demonstrates a proficiency in both extensive written and oral examinations, each of which statistically validates the surgeons ability to practice safe, aesthetically sensitive hair restoration surgery. In addition Dr Tam graduated from Southampton University with a Bachelor of Medicine and he is also a member of both the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and British Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons, both organisations champion the advancement of all aspects of hair restoration surgery to the highest standards of competence by appropriately qualified surgeons.
