Overview
At Children's Lung Specialists, our focus is to provide excellent medical care and treatment for cystic fibrosis (CF), asthma, chronic lung disease (CLD), exercise induced bronchospasm, chronic cough, and sleep disorders in infants, children and adolescents. We approach healthcare and treatment in a child- and adolescent-friendly manner and encourage parent's involvement in the education of their child's disease. Our Cystic Fibrosis Center, in association with the University Medical Center of Las Vegas (UMC), is located on their hospital campus. Children's Lung Specialist director, Dr. Craig Nakamura, oversees the center and collaborates with UMC in the specialty care and treatment for more than 150 patients. Dr. Nakamura also oversees the neonatal/pediatric care program at Sleep Logistics and reads the majority of the pediatric polysomnograms performed there. We are also proud to partner with the Faith Lutheran Junior and Senior High School to offer a School FluMist Vaccine Program to immunize children against influenza.
